If the index is 105.7, it means everyday items cost 5.7% more than they did in October 2025. This is based on 13 items Filipinos buy regularly — fuel, rice, eggs, canned goods, fast food, transport fare, and utilities. Unlike the official CPI, this basket focuses on what most working-class Filipinos actually spend on.
Kung ang index ay 105.7, ibig sabihin ay 5.7% na mas mahal ang mga pang-araw-araw na bilihin kumpara noong Oktubre 2025. Ito ay batay sa 13 item na regular na binibili ng mga Pilipino — gasolina, bigas, itlog, de-lata, fast food, pamasahe, at utilities. Hindi tulad ng opisyal na CPI, nakatuon ang basket na ito sa totoong ginagastos ng karaniwang manggagawa.
