1. Spray vinegar directly on the mold

   Fill a spray bottle with undiluted white vinegar. Spray it generously on all moldy areas — tiles, grout, corners, shower curtain edges, and around faucets. Vinegar kills 82% of mold species naturally.

2. Wait 10 minutes

   Let the vinegar sit and work. The acetic acid breaks down the mold structure. Don't rinse it off too early — the full 10 minutes makes a big difference.

3. Scrub and rinse

   Scrub the moldy areas with your brush. Focus on grout lines and corners where mold hides. Rinse with clean water and wipe dry. For stubborn black mold, repeat the process or apply a baking soda paste after the vinegar.

4. Improve ventilation

   After cleaning, address the root cause — moisture. If you have an exhaust fan, run it during and for 30 minutes after every shower. If no exhaust fan, open the bathroom window (or leave the door open after showering to let moisture escape).

5. Spray weekly to prevent regrowth

   Once a week, spray a light coat of vinegar on the areas that tend to get moldy — especially grout lines and corners. You don't even need to scrub. Just spray and leave it. This preventive spray takes 30 seconds and keeps mold from coming back.

4. Palakasin ang bentilasyon
